Josh Weil read from The New Valley to an enthusiastic audience at Volume Two Bookstore in Blacksburg on Friday, September 25th. He chose Sarverville Remains for this reading, a selection he admits he rarely reads in public because of the third person voice and the mountain dialect. While these apparent obstacles might have made the author uncomfortable, he delivered a nearly flawless reading of the opening passages from the third and most potent novella in The New Valley.
